“AMERICAN PICKERS” STAR HELPS GIVE AWAY $5,000 AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO SIOUX CITY

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (December 22, 2015) – This month, Frank Fritz, a star of the History Channel’s hit reality show “American Pickers,” drew a large crowd as he hosted a game show at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City. The reality star helped give away a combined $5,000 in cash prizes to five lucky guests on December 11, 2015. The winners were selected after playing the “Pick to Win” sweepstakes with Fritz.

Fritz got his start in picking early; collecting rocks and beer cans during his childhood. He worked as a fire and safety inspector for many years before pursuing his passion for antiques and junk. Fritz now spends all of his time on the road, digging for treasure in barns, garages, and junkyards across America.

“American Pickers,” currently in its eighth season, is a reality TV show based on antiquing. Fritz and his colleague, Mike Wolfe, drive coast-to-coast, scouring the country for hidden gems and meeting quirky characters along the way.
