STEVE-O
Steve-O (a.k.a. Stephen Glover) has become a household name and it all started when he snatched a video camera from his father’s closet when he was fifteen years old. From there he started producing homemade skateboarding videos featuring dangerous stunts mixed with comical behavior.
After finishing high school in London, and completing a year at the University of Miami, Steve-O realized that college wasn’t for him. He enrolled in Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown College to help further his goal of becoming a professional stuntman.
After graduating Clown College, and determined to make it in Hollywood, he began to pitch his home videos to producers. Eventually, Steve-O’s videos made it into the hands of Jeff Tremaine (Jackass Creator/Director/Producer) who was working with Johnny Knoxville to create a stunt based reality show. The rest is history.MTV aired the first season of JACKASS in 2000. When the JACKASS TV series ended in 2002, the team moved on to JACKASS: THE MOVIE, released by Paramount in October of that year. Shortly thereafter, Steve-O and fellow JACKASS alum, Chris Pontius, were given a spin-off show entitled WILDBOYZ, which aired on MTV and MTV2 and lasted four seasons.
In 2006, Paramount released JACKASS: NUMBER 2 in theatres and Steve-O continued to thrill audiences with his outrageous stunts.In 2010, Steve-O returned for the Paramount franchise in JACKASS 3D which turned out to be a huge hit at the box office for the third installment with JACKASS 3.5 releasing shortly after on DVD.In the months leading up to the release of JACKASS 3D he immersed himself in standup comedy, which had been a part-time hobby during the previous four years. Successful performances at prestigious comedy venues such as LA’s Laugh Factory and New York City’s Comedy Cellar led to his current tour performing standup, stunts and bar-tricks across North America, Australia and Europe, which he has dubbed “Steve-O’s Entirely Too Much Information Tour.”
ONE – TRIBUTE TO METALLICA
ONE… The Only Tribute to Metallica, was established in 2008, in their hometown of Minneapolis, MN. These four horsemen have expanded from the Twin Cities and brought North America an amazing national level touring tribute to the biggest hard rock and heavy metal band of all time.
Unlike the other Metallica tribute and cover bands, ONE focuses explicitly on the audio and visual aspects of a LIVE Metallica show. Their catalog consists of over 60 songs from their early garage band days up to the legends that they are today. ONE’s stage show is a memorable one that fans will remember from the 80′s and 90′s. Theatrical thrills that have been encompassed into a full arsenal of pyrotechnics, stage props, and some rare early days memorabilia and signature instruments will keep fans coming back for more.
This is not your average tribute band. ONE has played with many large national acts on a number of festival and amphitheater stages. Members of ONE have not only worked as part of the crew, but have also been fortune enough to jam with Metallica on their main stage!
DAVID ALLEN COE
David Allan Coe is one of the most celebrated and controversial artists to emerge from the outlaw country movement; a gifted songwriter and a charismatic performer, Coe is also a man who has followed his own path even when it meant traveling the hard way, and his life has been full of bad luck and misadventure. Few artists in any genre have as many tall tales and wild allegations attached to their name (some of which have been spread by Coe himself), and there are plenty of fans who love him or hate him for reasons that have nothing to do with his music. Despite it all, Coe’s songwriting reveals a greater intelligence and emotional range than his reputation would suggest, and his best music is a bracing mixture of country, blues, and rock & roll.
THE TUBES
The Tubes will go down in the rock history books as one of the most exciting, in-your-face tight-knit group of musicians who epitomised the hilarity of popular American culture by making it into a the ultimate rock’n’roll extravaganza. Their live shows involved mock bondage rituals, simulated sex, 12-foot high rock stars by the name of Quay Lude singing ‘White Punks On Dope’, exploding televisions, chainsaws and an array of semi-clad dancers. Some say they were about 15 years ahead of Madonna, and light years ahead of the politically correct.
In the tradition of Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart, the Tubes were one of the first bands to write and perform songs in a head-on theatrical onslaught. They simply didn’t entertain, they shocked audiences into submission. The Tubes were one of the pioneers of the rock video years before MTV became a household name, and used the medium in their early performances. The band tapped into the American zeitgeist and ridiculed its materialistic values, superficial advertising methods, took a poke at religious fundamentalists and often questioned sexual taboos. They took popular culture by the scruff of the neck, turned it upside down, and made it into entertainment.
Their outrageous performance-art concepts ranged from titillating, tongue’n’cheek pornography to straight-laced, black tie all-American conservatism, all of which frequently clouded the fact that they were, like Frank Zappa, technically gifted musicians in their own right. As the band progressed into the 1980’s they shed the controversial theatrical spectacle in favour for a more stripped down live setting that showed them in a more musical light, that ultimately brought them long overdue commercial success in America.
BLUE OYSTER CULT
Pioneering the heavy metal style while providing inspiration to psychedelic jam bands and arena rockers alike, genre-benders Blue Öyster Cult offer the world a taste of the wild side. The group has been known to incorporate elements of science-fiction and dark occultism into their jaw-dropping live show, and this allegiance to dynamic and masterful performances has led to the group being covered by everyone from Metallica and HIM to moe. Formed on a college campus in 1967, Blue Öyster Cult are best known for their smash singles “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” “Burnin’ for You” and “Godzilla.” Riff-heavy and head-banging while intelligently hook-laden, the band remains a staple among the heavy metal greats.
It all began in Nova Scotia late in 1969. The Henman brothers, David and Ritchie, got together with their cousin Jim Henman and fellow musician Myles Goodwyn to form a band called April Wine, a name chosen simply because they were two words that sounded good together. Fifteen studio albums, three live releases, numerous compilations, a boxed set and thousands of concerts later April Wine has become enormously popular in Canada, the United States and throughout the world. April Wine is best know for classic hits like “Just Between You and Me” and “I Like To Rock”
LIVE
The best songs will always define certain time periods. You’ll hear the melodies and instantly be transported back to the moment when you first experienced them. You’ll see the same sights and feel the same feelings as a result. In other words, you’ll get that same sonic bliss.
LIVE’s catalog is filled with songs like those. Among those seminal tunes are mega hits such as “Lightning Crashes,” “I Alone,” “All Over You,” and “Lakini’s Juice”–which remained pillars of the nineties both musically and culturally. Who can forget seeing the music video for “Lighting Crashes” on MTV for the first time–or fiftieth for that matter? We’ve all sung along to “I Alone” at some point too. That’s just a fact.
Meanwhile, “The Dolphin’s Cry” and “Overcome” ushered the group into the 21st century triumphantly. Given anthems such as those, it’s not surprising the band sold over 22 million albums worldwide and have become a veritable concert juggernaut. However, LIVE’s got a whole new crop of songs on the horizon for 2014 that carry the same poetry, power, and passion.

Rick Springfield’s first love has always been music, a lifelong passion ignited after picking up his first guitar at the age of 12 in his native Australia. Mastering the craft of songwriting far preceded his accomplishments as an actor and best-selling author.
With 25 million records sold, a Grammy® Award for his No. 1 smash-hit Jessie’s Girl, and whopping 17 Top-40 hits including Don’t Talk to Strangers, An Affair of the Heart, I’ve Done Everything for You, Love Somebody and Human Touch, Springfield has no intention of taking his foot off the accelerator. “I put everything I’ve got into making records,” he says. “Sometimes people think they have you pegged but I trust my music show them otherwise.”
