Come watch the best local and regional bands compete for their chance to open for music sensations at Anthem and Battery Park and $6,000! Band 6k performances begin on February 8 at 8pm and continue every Thursday until May 17. The championship round will be held on Saturday, May 26.

An alternative/indie rock band from Sioux City, IA.
Spencer Aspleaf
Spencer Aspleaf has been playing in Sioux City for ten plus years acoustically and with bands. Bands you might recognize him from would be Francis Canteen Band, Port Nocturnal and Chyna White. For the last year he has been doing acoustic sets around the Siouxland surrounding area. Spencer has a raw voice, mean guitar skills and a ear for what people want to hear. Recently Spencer has added two musicians to the line up giving it a more full sound. Josh Ronfeldt ( gypsy lover) on bass and Ja Mes Dean on drums. Come watch this trio play your favorites and raw originals.
Lil Red and the Medicated Moose
“Lil Red and the Medicated Moose Band all started when Husband and Wife singer/songwriters Bryan and Tiffany Jurries decided that they needed to start a band. They were quickly joined by percussionist Matt VanMeter. The 3 travel all around the Midwest playing their style of Acoustic music. On special occasions the band gets bigger and better by adding Noah Towns on the keys and Drew Paulsen on Bass. Come and experience the musical medication that cures whatever ails the soul.”
