SIOUX CITY, Iowa (May 13, 2016) – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City has reached a new milestone of having sold over 150,000 event tickets to shows in Anthem and Battery Park. Concert goers span across the entire nation, from tickets being sold in all 50 States to 8 countries including Japan, Finland, UK, Canada, Netherlands, Virgin Islands, Australia, and Ireland.

The weekly lineup of entertainment at Anthem, with performances four days a week, helped lead to this tremendous number of ticket sales. Anthem features Comedy every Wednesday night to rack up an impressive 101 live comedic performances since opening. The weekly Thursday night series of Blues performers ran up their concert count to 66, followed by the wildly successful Road to Vegas series in 2016 with 15 performances. In addition to the weekly regulars, Fridays and Saturdays are loaded with rockstars from all genres of music including Slash, Clint Black, Cole Swindell, Dustin Lynch, Halestorm, Kelsey Ballerini, Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, and George Thorogood.

Battery Park, the property’s outdoor event venue, has welcomed 12 concerts since 2014 and will host 8 more this year. Attendees of the outdoor concert series topped 25,000 visitors last year alone for a lineup that featured rock and roll hall of famer Elvis Costello, classic rockers Deep Purple and REO Speedwagon, plus chart topping musicians Colbie Caillat, Rachel Platten and Chris Young. In 2015, Battery Park was selected as one of three Finalist Nominees for the Casino Arena/Amphitheater of the Year Award by the Global Gaming Expo, G2E.
