HARD ROCK HOTEL SIOUX CITY RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS AAA FOUR DIAMOND AWARD FOR 3RD YEAR

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (March 8, 2017) – Today, Hard Rock Hotel Sioux City accepted its 2017 AAA Four Diamond Award. The AAA’s prestigious Four Diamond Rating, one of the most known and respected trademarks in the global travel industry, was originally awarded to Hard Rock Hotel Sioux City in 2015. John Roberts, a representative of the AAA Minnesota & Iowa offices, presented the 2017 award to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City General Manager, Todd Moyer.

Hard Rock Hotel Sioux City is one of four hotels in Iowa to receive this distinction and the only property located in the tri-state region, with no Four Diamond hotels in South Dakota and only two in Nebraska.

Following an unannounced and extensive evaluation by AAA’s professional inspectors in 2016, the hotel was once again considered among the highest ranking establishments in the industry. Exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality all contributed to Hard Rock Hotel Sioux City’s success. The rating awarded to Hard Rock Hotel Sioux City describes the hotel as “refined, stylish with upscale physical attributes, extensive amenities, and a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail.”

Hard Rock Hotel Sioux City is located in Sioux City’s historic Battery Building in the Fourth Street District. The completed renovated building boasts rock-n-roll inspired rooms with an eclectic mix of historical architecture and modern amenities and design elements.

According to AAA, establishments that are approved receive a rating based on the extensiveness of services, facilities, and amenities. Only 5.9 percent of the more than 28,000 properties approved by AAA achieve the Four Diamond distinction.
