Elvis Night: “One Night With the King”
“One Night With the King” captures the greatest moments of Elvis’s career and life through this live musical production. The audience will take a journey through the King of rock ‘n roll’s introduction to the world in the 1950’s, the hits from some of his 33 movies, the infamous 1968 television appearance that marked his return to live performances and the concert years that are symbolized by the powerful vocals, high-energy stage performance and his legendary jumpsuits. This show features multiple performers, professional choreography and dancers and a live band to get the crowd “All Shook Up.”
“One Night With The King” stars Brandon Bennett, Ted Torres and Tyler Hunter. Bennett was named the 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Champion by Elvis Presley Enterprises and has stared in the Broadway musical “Million Dollar Quartet.” Torres has won numerous awards across the United States for his Elvis tribute performances, and Hunter is a seasoned performer in the “Million Dollar Quartet” production in Branson, Missouri.
For Ned LeDoux, there was no “Plan B” other than to play music. Having been a drummer in his father Chris’ band, Western Underground, since 1998, Ned got a taste of being in front of a crowd that gave him freedom. After his father’s passing in 2005, Ned continued touring with his father’s band to keep the music spirit of Chris LeDoux alive. This drove him to pick up the guitar and try his hand at some of his dad’s songs. In 2015, Ned traveled to Nashville to work with Mac McAnally, his father’s former producer, to collaborate on the release of some of his father’s unfinished songs.
For the last year, Ned has been steadily touring and opening for acts like Toby Keith, Chris Janson and Randy Houser. He eventually plans to release an album of new material and include a few of his dad’s songs re-recorded in his own style as a tribute.
Hit songs include: “Brother Highway,” “This Cowboy’s Hat,” “We Aint Got It All”
