THE GATLIN BROTHERS TO PERFORM IN ANTHEM AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO SIOUX CITY NEXT YEAR

SIOUX CITY, IOWA (Dec. 11, 2018) – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City has announced that Grammy-winning country trio The Gatlin Brothers will perform at Anthem on March 9, 2019. This one-night-only show, “The Gatlin Brothers: A Night with Larry, Steve & Rudy,” will tell the story of the band’s storybook career while performing some of their most-known hits.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2018 and may be purchased at www.hardrockcasinosiouxcity.com or in-person at the Rock Shop. All events in Anthem are for guests 21 years and older.

The Gatlin Brothers officially formed in 1976, but their story started long before that in Abilene, Texas. The three brothers grew up singing gospel, entertaining crowds from coast to coast, and they appeared at the World’s Fair in 1964 in New York City. The trio recorded four gospel records before Larry left to attend college at the University of Houston. It was there that he met Dottie West, who was the opening act for country artist Jimmy Dean. Dottie brought Larry to Nashville after receiving eight songs that he had written; some of these songs were later performed and recorded by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Barbara Streisand and Charlie Rich.

Steve and Rudy joined their brother in Nashville after they graduated from Texas Tech University, and the three formed Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers. They have performed at famed venues such as the White House, Air Force One, The Lincoln Theater, the Greek Theater, Radio City Music Hall and Disney World. They have accumulated seven No. 1 singles, 32 Top 40 Records, 22 studio albums, three ACM awards and a Grammy for Best Country Song “Broken Lady.”
