BLYND AMBYSSION : FREE SHOW
Blynd Ambyssion was formed in 2023 and are based out of Sioux City, Iowa. Although the band is new, the musicians are not. You may recognize some of them from the local music scene, having been in other bands over the years.
We are a versatile band and not genre specific. We cover a lot of pop, rock, country, and decade music.
Brittani Bauer – lead vocals
Sioux City, Ia.
She was in bands from 2009-2014 named Sabre Roze, High intelligence, Carlin Park and sang with multiple bands as a guest with friends in town for many years and, as of late, the Hippie Go Lucky Band. Lots of karaoke competitions, sang at Awesome biker nights, as well as a ABC televised karaoke show.
She has always loved singing, and performing. It’s in my blood she says, and we believe it!! She put performing on the back burner to grow her family, and as her kids grew older She missed the stage. She loves to dance, do makeup and hair, crochet and anything artsy. Shes a big people person and works as a medical assistant and Pharmacy Technician as her main gig.
Todd Ferry – drums & vocals

Originally from Schleswig, IA, Todd started playing drums at a young age of five after discovering his dad’s drums in the basement. All through school he was a part of the marching, concert and jazz bands and jammed with guys in basements on the side.
His first real band experience was at the age of 23 where he played a gig with a country band called Whiskey River out of Denison, IA. Up until now he has been the drummer for the bands Big Lizard, Straight On, and Hippie Go Lucky, all based out of Sioux City, Ia. and has filled in on occasion for other drummers. Todd also makes online music.
Phil Carlin – bass & vocals

From The Beatles and chance meetings in the mid ’70s with a number of my musical heroes, I KNEW “My Path”! I’m blessed to be friends with some amazing iconic musicians and their families, whom I now call dear friends! So many bands I’ve been a happy part of.
NEVER happy with “off the rack” guitars of the 70’s, I started making my own back then. I still do. Guitar and Bass, are the instruments of my soul. I’m happy at both. I’m a goof, the stage has ALWAYS been “my place”

Jonathan Banks – guitar & vocals
Vermillion, Sd.
Say hello to the quiet riot of the band!Jonathan Banks has been playing guitar since he was 11 years old and has 10+ years experience teaching others to do the same. Though rock and metal are his main flavors of choice, Jonathan has experience with a variety of genre, including blues, jazz, classical, country, pop and folk music.
He earned an associate’s degree in music from Florissant Valley Community College as well as a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Missouri St. Louis, and has extensive experience performing in a variety of settings, including in the studio recording albums, churches, bars, on tour, festivals etc. He still teaches on the side and enjoys helping and inspiring others through the gift of music. In his spare time, Jonathan likes to drink coffee, be with friends and family, and, of course, play guitar!
Mark Bauer – guitar

I have been playing guitar since 1995. My musical and guitar influences growing up were sublime,Metallica, both classic rock and punk rock as well as Heavy metal. It’s been 8 years since I have played in my old bands Equestrian Stormfront and The Alley Boys. I have grown my family since and I have missed playing as well. I am excited to be apart of a band with amazing musicians and singers, (my wife being Lead Vocals) and can’t wait to play for you all!
