FAREWELL SHOW TO DANE LOUIS. Dane Louis is a local Siouxland artist who has opened for several Anthem shows over the last seven years and for Brantley Gilbert at Battery Park in 2021. Dane will be moving to further pursue his country music career, and thus this will be his last local hometown performance prior to his big move. Good luck, Dane!
Born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa, Dane Louis is a country artist equipped with a grittier and more uncut style different than most of what’s on the radio nowadays. With songs like “High Tax” about a 40 hour week and the glamour of trailerhood, and the vengeful heartbreak of “Bad Guy”, his style is counterbalanced with ballads such as “What’s Your Name Again?” and “One More Day”.
With a sound derivative of greats like Mellancamp and Eric Church, Dane Louis and his awe inspiring band headlined several shows as well as opening for countless acts in 2019, including Tracy Byrd, Carly Pearce, Tyler Rich, Ashley McBryde, Billy Currington, Koe Wetzel, and Joe Diffie.
