Parmalee recently made history when its multi-week #1 smash “Carolina” became the longest climbing single by a duo or group in the 24-year history of the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. Parmalee was also the first multi-member Country act to garner a #1 single on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts since Florida Georgia Line. “Carolina” was recently certified GOLD (for over 500,000 in sales) by the RIAA.
Parmalee’s debut country album, FEELS LIKE CAROLINA, has earned critical praise from People, The New York Times, USA Today, Newsday, Billboard and more. A 2014 semi-finalist for the Academy of Country Music’s coveted “New Artist of the Year” award, Parmalee recently joined one of country’s leading male vocalists, Jake Owen, on his Days Of Gold Tour as the band’s new single, “Close Your Eyes” climbs the country radio charts.
Broken Bow Records artist Dustin Lynch occupies a unique place in today’s country music. Thanks to his classic sensibilities, he’s been heralded as the heir to George Strait’s throne. Yet with one listen to his newest hit, “Where It’s At,” it’s obvious the young Tennessee native knows how to combine his traditional influences with an edgy intensity that places him at the vanguard of today’s contemporary country scene. It’s that ability to fuse his country roots with a progressive musical vision that makes Lynch one of today’s most successful young artists.
His self-titled debut hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart in 2012 – making him the only new male artist to achieve such a feat that year. Lynch’s breakthrough lead single, “Cowboys and Angels,” exceeded platinum sales status, ending the year as one of Billboard’s Top 5 Country Songs of 2012. Lynch further cemented his next-big-thing status with the sexy, up-tempo barnstormer “She Cranks My Tractor” which reached #1 on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown.
Big Smo owns that place where country, Southern rock and hip hop come together, where the beat rocks the story and the story rocks the beat. An early review put it this way: “If Kid Rock and Run D.M.C. had a love child, he would be named Big Smo.” Big Smo’s rise has been fueled by high energy and relatable lyrics, a band with the ability to rock a crowd and the studio savvy to capture that lightning in a bottle. His album, Kuntry Livin’ has held its position in the top ten of Billboard Top Country Albums for ten weeks now. In addition to his successful music career, Big Smo gives fans an inside look at his life and career on his hit television show “Big Smo” on the A&E Network.
