Property named Best Overall Gaming Resort in Iowa

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (August 29, 2016) – Casino Player magazine recently released its 2016 “Best of Gaming Awards” and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City has topped the charts in 14 different categories, including the top award for Best Overall Gaming Resort.

Each year, Casino Player – the leading national consumer gaming publication in North America – conducts an extensive survey of the best casinos in the country with the help of readers and gaming enthusiasts nationwide. Properties are judged on a broad spectrum of categories to determine which destinations offer the best of the best in North America’s gaming industry.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City received first place honors in Iowa in ten different “Best of Gaming” categories, including:

These wins add to the tally of first place finishes the 2-year-old entertainment destination has received from Casino Player magazine since opening its doors in August 2014. The property garnered 12 wins from the magazine’s 2016 Best of Dining and Nightlife Awards earlier this year, including Best Overall Dining and Best Overall Entertainment.

Among the property’s list of awards are the Pride of Sioux City: Business Beautification Award, AAA Four Diamond Award, TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, and Iowa Tourism Award’s 2015 Outstanding Attraction in Iowa.
