SIOUX CITY, Iowa (October 16, 2014) – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City announced it will host a professional hypnotist, Jim Wand, on Friday, November 7 and rock tribute band for AC/DC, Back in Black, on Saturday, November 8 in Anthem.

Friday, November 7  – Dr. Jim Wand  – 7pm and 10pm (10pm is unrated show)

Saturday, November 8 – Back in Black AC/DC Tribute Band – 8pm

Dr. Jim Wand is the founder and owner of Wand Enterprises, The Hypnosis Agency. He has been involved in the field of hypnosis for over 30 years. Dr. Wand holds a Ph.D. in the field of psychology, has over 9,000 professional engagements to his credit and is considered to be one of the most professional hypnotic entertainers in the world today.

He has worked with such personalities as Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien, Chris Rock, Carrot Top, Larry the Cable Guy, Jeff Probst the host of Survivor, Sylvester Stallone, George Strait, The Judds, and Rascal Flatts, just to mention a few. Dr. Wand has also appeared on numerous TV programs including a national FOX special entitled “WOW”, Comedy Central (numerous times), and on almost every other major TV network.

The Back in Black tribute band is an incredible, exciting, high energy reproduction of a concert performance of AC/DC . All the members of Back in Black live in Dallas/Fort Worth area and are experienced musicians not only dedicated to the sound and look, but also capturing the power and excitement of AC/DC.

They are one of the first tribute bands chosen by Live Nation/CBS Radio to tour the House of Blues! For the third year in a row they will headline the world’s largest Tribute Festival, Jacks Throwback in Dallas. They also performed to over 36,000 people at the Bone Bash in Ft Worth, and have been recruited by Sony Music, AC/DC’s new record label, to promote catalog sales. 20th Century Fox have chosen Back in Black over all other tribute bands to record AC/DC’s classics “TNT” and “A Long Way to the Top” for two of their movies, Napoleon Dynamite and Garage Days.
