THE BAND PERRY TO PERFORM ON MARCH 1 IN ANTHEM AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO SIOUX CITY

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Jan. 21, 2019) – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is happy to announce that Grammy-award winning trio The Band Perry will be performing in Anthem on March 1, 2019. The Band Perry has sold more than 2.5 million albums and 13 million singles and have more than 1.75 billion combined streams on their songs.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, and may be purchased at www.hardrockcasinosiouxcity.com or in-person at the Rock Shop. All events in Anthem are for guests 21 years and older.

Siblings Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry formed The Band Perry in 2005 and were discovered by Garth Brooks’ manager, Bob Doyle, in 2008. They signed to Republic Nashville in released their debut single, “Hip to My Heart,” in 2009. The song peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot Country chart.

Their second single, “If I Die Young,” topped the Billboard U.S. Country chart and went platinum six times. This song helped forge a unique identity and build an international fan base that helped lead them to multiple sold-out world tours, five No. 1 singles on the Billboard Country Chart, a No. 1 single on the Hot AC chart, six songs reaching gold or platinum status and a Grammy award.

Their second album, Pioneer, was released to critical acclaim in 2013 with chart-topping singles such as “Better Dig Two,” “Done,” and “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely.” Most recently, The Band Perry released a new collection of five songs titled COORDINATES, which moved the band into the contemporary, electronic pop realm.
