TRAVIS TRITT, THE CHARLIE DANIELS BAND AND THE CADILLAC THREE TO PERFORM IN BATTERY PARK ON MAY 23
SIOUX CITY, Iowa (April 1, 2019) – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City announced today that legendary country singer Travis Tritt, award-winning country performer The Charlie Daniels Band, and Southern rock group The Cadillac Three will perform in Battery Park on Thursday, May 23, as part of the newly-announced Tailgate Series.
As part of the Tailgate Series, patrons who purchase general admission tickets will be able to bring in a personal lawn chair for the performance. Those who still wish to stand and not bring a chair will have an area within the general admission section. Tickets will still be available to purchase for the Rock Star Lounge and the Bud Light Party Tent.
Tickets for this performance are on sale now and may be purchased at www.hardrockcasinosiouxcity.com or in-person at the Rock Shop. Shows in Battery Park are open to all ages.
Hit songs include: “Help Me Hold On,” “Foolish Pride,” “Best of Intentions,” “Can I Trust You with My Heart,” “Anymore”
Tritt fell in love with music as a child, teaching himself how to play guitar when he was eight and began writing original songs when he was a teenager. He teamed up with Warner Bros. executive Danny Davenport and recorded multiple demos while he played the music circuit while developing his distinctive voice, adding elements of Southern country-rock to his honky-tonk flair.
He released his debut album and single of the same name, “Country Club,” which spent 26 weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. He had two other major hits from the album; “Help Me Hold On” hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts, while “Put Some Drive in your Country” reached the No. 2 position.
Tritt’s second album, It’s All About to Change, was a commercial success and hit triple-platinum certification from the RIAA. All four singles from the album reached the top five on the country music charts, and he won a Grammy for Best County Collaboration with Vocals with country artist Marty Stuart on their song “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’ Anymore.”
In total, Tritt has released 11 studio albums and had five Billboard No. 1 singles. He is a two-time Grammy winner and three-time Country Music Association (CMA) award winner for Vocal Event of the Year. He has multiple television and film credits under his belt including guest appearances on shows such as episodes Touched By an Angel, CMT Crossroads, Battleground Earth and the 2018 romantic-comedy hit Forever My Girl.
