BEARTOOTH TO PERFORM IN ANTHEM AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO SIOUX CITY

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (Jan. 30, 2019) – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City announced today that hardcore punk band Beartooth will perform in Anthem later this year. Beartooth, who opened for rock band A Day to Remember in Battery Park last year, will perform April 20 with metalcore band Of Mice & Men, Australian rock band Hands Like Houses and rock band Dead American.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, and may be purchased at www.hardrockcasinosiouxcity.com or in-person at the Rock Shop. All events in Anthem are for guests 21 years and older.

Beartooth was conceived, constructed and unleashed by lead singer Caleb Shomo in a basement studio in 2012 after his departure from another band. What began as an artistic self-medication for a single multi-instrumentalist quickly caught fire with the release of the 2013 EP The Sick, 2014’s Disgusting and the sophomore-slump shattering Aggressive in 2016.

Since then, Beartooth has cracked Billboard’s Top 25 multiple times with songs such as “Hated” and “Disease.” They were crowned Breakthrough Band at both the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2016 and Loudwire Music Awards in 2017. The band participated in the 2014 and 2015 Vans Warped Tour, performed at the Slum Dunk and Download festivals in England and have toured with internationally-known acts such as Slipknot, Bring Me the Horizon and Pierce the Veil. Most recently, the band released their third full-length album, Disease, in late 2018.
