CANADIAN ROCK BAND THE GLORIOUS SONS TO PERFORM IN ANTHEM AT HARD ROCK HOTEL & CASINO SIOUX CITY

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (March 14, 2019) – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City announced today that Canadian rock band The Glorious Sons, winners of a Juno Award for Rock Album of the Year in 2018, will perform in Anthem later this year on May 31.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019, and may be purchased at www.hardrockcasinosiouxcity.com or in-person at the Rock Shop. All events in Anthem are for guests 21 years and older.

THE GLORIOUS SONS

The Glorious Sons formed in 2011 but did not release their independent EP, “Shapeless Art,” until 2013. The EP was re-released after the band signed to Black Box Music later that year, with their single “White Noise” reaching the No. 2 position on the Canadian rock radio charts.

The band rose to fame with the release of their second album, “The Union.” The record became an immediate hit on the Canadian rock radio landscape, scoring seven consecutive Top 10 radio tracks. In 2015, The Glorious Sons won two SiriusXM Indie Awards (Group of the Year and Rock Group of the Year) and received a Juno Award nomination for Rock Album of the Year.

Their most recent album, “Young Beauties and Fools,” was released in 2017. The lead single from the album, “Everything is Alright,” peaked at No. 1 on the Canadian alternative rock radio charts and saw international airplay, including on BBC Radio 1. The band also won a Juno Award in 2018 for Rock Album of the Year.
