SUX PRIDE was established in 2016 and the core value for our organization has always been simple. Love will always win. The organization was founded to give queer people a space to come together and celebrate one another. Throughout the years we have grown and have showcased to Siouxland and neighboring, cities, and states that we are here, we are queer, and we are not going anywhere. Our event takes place the first weekend of June. The Board is comprised of every queer person on the LGBTQIA2S+ spectrum and allies. We meet throughout the year and create meaningful opportunities that leave an everlasting impact on our community. We showcase some of the richest and most diverse talent in the area. Drag artists, burlesque artists, musical acts, and other artists have a safe space to showcase their artistry. We have had the privilege to expand our reach and have even been featured in local publications such as The Sioux City Journal and KTIV News Channel. SUX Pride has been recognized as one of the largest growing pride events in the Midwest by The Sioux City Journal.

Multi-platinum American rockers, HINDER, continue to drive a career of longevity that few bands achieve.
As one of the few bands to grab massive cross-over success, HINDER’s 2005 debut album, Extreme Behavior, climbed to #6 on the Billboard 200 chart and was the 2nd Top Rock Album. Get Stoned would be the album’s first radio single, climbing to a #4 mainstream rock spot. What followed would end up being one of the biggest songs of the year, Lips of an Angel, which peaked within the top 10 across several Billboard singles charts, including #1 at Top 40 and Pop 100. Extreme Behavior has since been certified 3x Platinum. In 2008 their sophomore effort, Take It To The Limit, surpassed their debut by peaking at #4 on the Billboard 200 and hitting the Mainstream Rock chart at #3 with single Use Me. This solidified HINDER as the biggest new breakout rock act and catapulting them into packed arenas worldwide with the likes of Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Papa Roach, and many others. HINDER proved consistent record hit making by following up with a #1 Top Modern
Rock/Alternative Album, All American Nightmare (LP 3), and a #3 Top Hard Rock Album, Welcome To The Freakshow (LP 5).

We don’t get to repeat even one minute of our time here, but what if you could experience all the youthful energy and sonic celebration that was 1980s New Wave & Radio Pop? Every sound. Every nuance. Every feeling. That’s Electric Avenue.
“If you close your eyes, it’s 1985. This band is unbelievable.” Christine Murphy, Manchester, CT
What started out as a one-off party gig has turned into just over a decade-long run, totaling more than 1100 concerts across the US and abroad.
An Electric Avenue show is a high energy space that reminds people of a time when they came home from school, put a record on, and listened with open ears and an open heart, conjuring first dates, first cars, prom nights, weekend movies, meeting friends at the mall, while finding a sense of fashion and an identity all their own. At an EA show, 80’s music is as alive and well today as it has ever been.
If authenticity is your thing, Electric Avenue meticulously and painstakingly recreates every nuance and flavor of your favorite 80’s songs. Delving into their personal stash of vintage synthesizers and rare signal processors, an Electric Avenue show is a true labor of love. In fact, Electric Avenue’s sound is so close to that of the original artists that in 2019 Warner Music issued a cease-and-desist for using original artists recordings on their social channels. After hearing the complete live recording of Electric Avenue’s performance, Warner Music issued an apology to the band.
Electric Avenue has sailed the high seas with The Walking Dead Cast, Kid Rock, The Impractical Jokers, Joey Fatone, and Pitbull. In 2019, EA was hand-picked and flown to Asbury Park, NJ to provide the soundtrack for the red carpet launch of the Bruce Springsteen, Gurinder Chadha (Bend it Like Beckham), New Line Entertainment 80’s-centric film, Blinded By The Light. They have had the privilege of being direct support for 80’s legend Pat Benatar, and have been joined on stage by, among others, members of Toto, Player, Talk Talk, and Little River Band.
As artists, the musicians in Electric Avenue have had a hand in the sale of over 15 million albums worldwide. They choose to perform these songs because they love them as much as you do.
If namedropping is your thing, you may have seen or heard these guys with: Lionel Richie, Paul Simon, Idina Menzel, Daniel Lanois (producer for U2, Peter Gabriel), Brian Blade, Emmy Lou Harris, B-52s, Little River Band, Michael Malarkey (Vampire Diaries), Zac Brown Band, Player, RENT (our singer played Roger Davis from 2001-2004), Paula Cole, Tracy Chapman, Bobby Kimball (Toto) Kristian Bush (Sugarland), Shanice, Edwin McCain, Robbie Dupree, Rita Wilson, Lindsay Ell, Boston, Collective Soul, Mother’s Finest, Sister Hazel, Yanni, Boyz II Men, and more.
Every sound. Every nuance. Every time. That’s Electric Avenue.

The All-American Rejects, formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1999, quickly rose to prominence in the early 2000s with their infectious blend of pop-punk and emo rock. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2002, featured the hit single “Swing, Swing,” which propelled them into the mainstream. This success was followed by their sophomore album, “Move Along” (2005), which trophied 3 chart-topping singles like “Dirty Little Secret,” “Move Along,” and “It Ends Tonight.”
In 2008, they released “When the World Comes Down,” featuring the stratospheric and generational smash hit “Gives You Hell,” which became their most successful single to date, reaching number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band’s fourth studio album, “Kids in the Street,” came out in 2012, showcasing a more mature sound while still retaining their signature style.
Despite a quieter period in the mid-2010s, The All-American Rejects maintained a dedicated fanbase and continued to tour sporadically while catching up on life that the road kept them from.
The summer of 2023 was a significant milestone for the band, as they embarked on the successful Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour. This tour celebrated their enduring legacy and brought their energetic performances to fans old and new across the country.
As of now, The All-American Rejects continue to create and perform, solidifying their place as one of the most beloved bands of their genre. Their journey from early 2000s hitmakers to enduring rock icons is a testament to their talent, resilience, and the deep connection they share with their fans.
